In May boats of all shapes and sizes reappear in our beautiful harbor. Speedboats, sailboats, classic wooden boats, and even kayaks and canoes dot the watery landscape. What is your favorite kind of boat and why?

National Library Week

April 12th-18th is National Library Week - a time to celebrate all libraries have to offer. The Children's Department of the Newport Public Library offers free Internet access computers,

Wi-Fi, downloadable audio books for children, playaways, circulating toys, DVD's, CD's, circulating computer software, videos, materials in Spanish, magazines and books for all reading levels and interests. We also offer free events for children. Come in and see what's new.
